PennDOT Summer 2010 Seasonal Positions

PennDOT is currently looking for college students, and a limited number of non-students, to fill full-time seasonal summer positions throughout each county.  Positions will pay $11.32 per hour, may commence as early as April 1, 2010, and last the duration of the summer.

To qualify, student candidates must be 18 years of age and be enrolled in college for the Fall 2010 semester.  Non-student candidates are not subject to this requirement.

To apply, go to www.employment.pa.gov and apply for the "student summer employment" category.  All applications must be done online.  Personal Data Sheets and hardcopy resumes will no longer be accepted.  The application process generally takes between 20 and 30 minutes, but all information will be saved for later use.  Once entered online, only an e-mail or letter of recommendation is needed.  If you do not have computer or internet access, please call 1-866-858-2753 to locate the nearest PA CareerLink center.  All applications must be submitted no later than the close of business Friday, January 22, 2010.

PLEASE NOTE:  there are no positions available in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia counties.
