Pro Football Hall of Fame Member Jim Kelly
 To Join Sen. Orie in Pushing for Improved
 Screenings of Newborns in PA

Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly will join Sen. Jane Orie (R-Allegheny) and other legislators at a press conference in Harrisburg on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, to urge members of the PA House and Senate to approve and fund the Newborn Child Testing Act (House Bill 883).  The press conference will be at noon in the State Capitol's East Wing Media Center.   

The bill was approved unanimously by the House, and the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee, and is awaiting action by the Senate Appropriations Committee.
