Poff Elementary School collected donations for US troops serving overseas.  This project was coordinated by the second grade students and completed in conjunction with Senator Jane Orie's office.  The items will be packaged and shipped by the "Yellow Ribbon Girls," a dedicated and committed group of women who send care packages to the troops.  Twelve boxes of donated items, including homemade holiday cards, food/snacks, and miscellaneous personal goods, will be sent to service men and women from all branches of the United States Military stationed in countries around the world.
